Mr. Ward is as an accomplished entrepreneur and businessman with 30 years of
experience in management consulting, mergers and acquisitions and information
technology.
Prior to founding his own business in 1991, Mr. Ward held a management position
in the management consulting division of Ernst & Young and in the information
technology division of Hallmark Cards, Inc., where he designed and implemented
state-of-the-art information technology solutions.
In 2002, Mr. Ward joined a nationwide mergers & acquisitions firm as a Managing
Director. He represented sellers of privately-owned middle-market
companies and corporate, private equity or entrepreneurial buyers throughout the
United States.
Mr. Ward has extensive experience working with the top management of major
domestic and international corporations. His value-added services have
included strategic and tactical planning, business case development,
facilitation, project management and business process analysis and
implementation. This experience has given Mr. Ward a practical, insider's
understanding of many industries including telecommunications, pharmaceuticals,
manufacturing, distribution, technology services, distribution, banking, mutual
funds, government and education.
Mr. Ward is a past President of the Kansas City Business Broker's Association
and he is the past President and a founder of the Kansas City Quality Assurance
Association. Mr. Ward has also devoted significant time and resources to
providing civic services to his community including serving on the city council
and as the mayor of his community.
Mr. Ward earned his
Executive Fellows Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts Degree
from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. His training,
certifications and years of experience as a machinery & equipment appraiser,
qualifies him to provide appraisals for the IRS, SBA and other government
agencies. Mr. Ward is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker-Officer.
